Acts 5:27-33; Jn 3:31-36
Today’s Gospel highlights the generosity of God with His gift of the Spirit.
The core teaching of John’s Gospel is that ‘Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly’ (Jn 10:10).
If God does not ration out His gift of the Spirit, and if God wants us to have life in abundance, we must match God’s intentions with our faith.
In other words, ‘faith in abundance’ will result in ‘life in abundance.’
The generous God deserves our generous response.
